Philadelphia is a Great Place to Take a Break

Earlier this month, I decided that I needed a vacation. The reason I decided that I needed a vacation was because I had been putting in a lot of time at work. Usually, I wouldn’t just leave my life behind suddenly, but I realized that this time around, it was actually the best thing that I could do for myself. Once I had made up my mind, I got on my computer and started looking for where I wanted to go. Fortunately for me, my search eventually lead to me finding a great deal on a trip to Philadelphia. I booked my trip for three and a half days, and knew that it was going to be a relaxing experience.

As a result of this trip being planned at the last minute (which is exactly what made it so exciting), I didn’t really have any concrete plans for my time in Philadelphia. Since the goal of my trip was to feel as free as possible, I decided to go ahead and get a Philadelphia car rental for myself. Once I had made all of my arrangements, I only had to wait around for less than two weeks before I took off for my trip.

After my plane arrived and I got off of it, I immediately went and got my Philadelphia car rental. Arranging for my transportation online turned out to be a great decision, because actually picking up my Philadelphia car rental was a breeze. It turns out that set the tone for the rest of my trip, because it went smoothly and literally lifted the stress of of my shoulders.

A Weekend Trip to Philadelphia

About a month ago, I was starting to go a little stir crazy. I had just finished up a large project at work, and due to this project, I had been working really long hours in the weeks leading up to its due date. This had severely limited the amount of time I had to get out and see my friends, which obviously didn’t put me in a great mood.

Once I successfully completed the project, I realized I needed a little getaway to clear my head and fully relax. I started browsing the Internet for really cheap travel deals, and came across one for Philadelphia. I was looking on a Wednesday afternoon, and this travel deal to Philadelphia began on Friday afternoon and ended on Sunday evening. That was exactly what I needed, so I booked it with almost no hesitation.

The funny thing about my trip is that although I didn’t do a ton of different things, it was exactly what I needed. I enjoyed eating some great food, and I actually spent a lot of time relaxing in a great cafe and reading a couple of books that I had been wanting to dive into for several months!

I’m Going to Philadelphia with Fifteen of My Friends

Because my friends and I have been to the beach for the past two Spring Breaks, we decided that we wanted to mix things up this year. We had a great experience on both of our previous Spring Breaks, but we are the type of people who enjoy having a lot of variety in our lives, and the destinations of our Spring Break trips are no exception.

After a lot of debate and discussion, we decided that we want to go to Philadelphia on Spring Break. This may sound like a strange Spring Break destination, but I think that we are going to have a great time. One of the best things about our destination is that it’s close enough for us to drive there, which means that we are going to save a lot of money since we don’t have to buy a plane ticket. Once we broke down the costs, we decided that it made more sense to get a couple of car rentals for Philadelphia instead of driving our own cars there.

My Niece is Going to Accomplish So Much

It’s hard for me to describe how proud I am of my niece. Ever since she started school, she always stood out as an excellent student and amazing person. From elementary to middle school to high school, she just continued to accomplish more and more. Best of all, she is an extremely likable person, so she has never had a problem balancing her academic life with her social one. Currently, she is almost done with her first year in college, and in this short amount of time, she has already made quite a name for herself.

I think the reason that I am so close with my niece is because of the fact that I have never been able to have children of my own, I have always seen myself as her second mother (which my sister completely understands). I just feel lucky that my niece looks up to me so much and comes to me for advice on a regular basis.

To put in perspective the type of relationship we have, I recently called my niece to tell her I was going to be in Philadelphia (the city where she goes to school) on a business trip, and was wondering if we could spend some time together. She told me that she was actually going to be having a three day weekend as a result of President’s Day, so it turned out that we got to spend a ton of time with each other.

Time for a New City

It’s still a little strange to me when I hear myself say that I am a college graduate. After four and a half years of living the college lifestyle, it’s hard to believe that I now have a degree and am ready to go out into the workforce. I am confident with what I have learned and what I can accomplish at a job, but it is just strange to think that in a matter of weeks, my world is completely changing from what I have been used to for over four years.

Even though it’s a little sad to think that my college days are over, I have to say that I am quite excited about what the future has in store for me. I have thought about my future for quite a long time, and it is crazy to think that it is finally here. Although I went to college on the West Coast, I was offered a job in Philadelphia, which is why that is where I am now living. I’m still adjusting to life in Philadelphia, but everything has gone well so far, so I know that I am going to be happy living in this busy city.

My Sister Loves Philadelphia

Although she has only lived there for a little over a year and a half, my sister absolutely loves Philadelphia. She moved there because she got a job offer upon graduating college, and I don’t think she has ever had a second thought about the decision that she made. Not only does she love Philadelphia, but she also really loves her job. It makes me so happy to know that she loves her home and her job so much, because we all know that these two factors play a huge role in how fulfilled you are with your life.

While I have seen her a couple of times since she moved to Philadelphia (when we have both gone back for family events), I hadn’t gotten a chance to go to Philadelphia and visit her. Even though we talk online a lot, it’s still nice to see people like your sister in person. So, when I found out about some vacation days at work, I knew that I was going to use them to go visit my sister in Philadelphia. I ended up going to Philadelphia for a total of six days, and we had a really good time hanging out together.

A Family Trip to Philadelphia

Because I have a small family, we are able to do things that a lot of large families simply can’t coordinate or afford. While a lot of people who I know think that it would be depressing to have a small family, it is something that I really enjoy. I guess it would be depressing if you didn’t like the people who were members of your family, but I love all of my family members with my entire heart (and I know that they feel the same way about me), so we are an extremely close knit group of people.

Since there are not that many of us, we are able to go wherever we want for the holidays, instead of being obligated to hold our family events at the same location every single year. We try to go somewhere different each year, and for this year’s trip, we have decided that we are all going to spend Christmas together in the city of Philadelphia. Although I have never been to Philadelphia before, I have heard a lot of good things about this city, so I am excited to spend time there with my family in the very near future.
