Sleeping well while I am traveling is not always the easiest thing to do. Because I have such a comfortable bed in my own home, it can be strange adjusting to sleeping in a different bed (even if it is comfortable itself). However, if I stay at a nice hotel that is clean and quiet, I find it is much easier to get a good night’s sleep than if I stay somewhere that is dirty, loud or in any other way unpleasant. And as we all know, the quality of the sleep that you get at night can have a huge impact on how you feel the next day (which is especially important when you are on a trip).

Since I’m sure you want to make sure you find a great place to stay while you are visiting Philadelphia, here are a couple of my recommendations for you:

Alexander Inn: This hotel has received an award for being a “Top Value” place to stay, and the reason for that is because even though you will only pay $129 a night when you stay here, you will get a great hotel experience for that small amount of money.

Sofitel Philadelphia: At a price of $242 a night, just on the surface this hotel is a fairly good place to book a room. However, when you take into account how luxurious this hotel looks, as well as how nice the beds are that they offer, you will see that you actually get even more bang for your buck than you realized.

Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia: With an average cost of $441 a night, this isn’t a budget friendly place to stay, but if you want to splurge while you are in Philadelphia, this is the place to do it.
